Toolbar

The toolbar contains all the actions you may perform on the current file. Below is a description of each toolbar button. Please note: not all buttons may always be available.

      Check Syntax: opens a new browser window with a script that will evaluate the current file for correct syntax. Please Note: this function is only available for the following file types: cgi, css, htm, html, pl, pm.

      Copy: brings up a dialog box that allows you to duplicate and/or rename the current file in another location on your web site.

      Delete: removes the current file from your web site. Use caution when clicking this button! Deleted files cannot be recovered without a fee.

      Download: allows you to save the current file to your local computer.

      Extract: brings up a dialog box that allows you to extract the contents of the current archive file into a folder on your web site. Please note: this option is only available for valid archive files.

      Move: brings up a dialog box that allows you to change the name and/or location of the current file.

      Save: saves changes to the file that is being edited. Please note: if you make changes to a file, you must click this button before navigating to a different web page. If you don't, your changes will be lost.

      View: opens a new browser window with the file that is currently being edited.

      Window Size Dropdown: Allows you to change the size of the text edit window. Default sizes for common screen resolutions are included. These options are for those who don't like the text edit window to be sized automatically.
